Splintered to screen at Kinofilm this Friday!

This week sees the launch of the 2010 Kinofilm Festival at the AMC Cinema in Manchester – which will host a special screening of Splintered on Friday April 30th at 10:15pm.

Directed by Simeon Halligan, Splintered tells the story of Sophie, a young girl with a curiosity for the unexplained that leads her into a deadly game of cat and mouse with a mysterious psychopath. As Sophie’s internal conflicts battle it out with this new external terror, will she find the strength she needs to survive?

This is a fantastic opportunity to catch this North West-made psychological chiller ahead of its launch in July. And as this is a brand new cut of the film, you’ll be seeing it at its very best on the big screen where it belongs! Having shown at international events like Bruge’s Razor Reels festival and played to a packed house at last year’s Grimm Up North! Event, there’s a significant amount of buzz that’s followed the film this far.

So why not grab the chance to see the movie Noel Mellor of The Film Rant Podcast called “an antidote to the dull-as-dishwater Saw films and mindless remakes that fill our multiplexes over and over again”. Tickets can be purchased at the AMC Cinema in Manchester and more information about the Kinofilm festival here
