Not a Number is an independent film production company based in the UK. We raise finance and produce feature films for the international market place. Dedicated to producing feature films with the highest production values whatever the budget, ‘Not a Number’ write, develop and bring new film drama to the screen. The Team:

Rachel Richardson-Jones – Director

Rachel key responsibility it to head all aspects of company liaison, such as dealing with financial institutions and developing international business. She will also be responsible for individual film production, market placement and sales strategy.

In addition, Rachel has been employed for the last two decades by award winning Production Company Spoken Image ltd.  As a senior Producer/Director she has directed and produced corporate work and commercials on an international level. Her clients include IBM, Sky, Island Records, Du Pont USA, BMA and GVA to name a few.

Experienced in handling complex budgets, she has an extensive knowledge of production at all levels.

Simeon Halligan – Director

Simeon’s primary role is to run the creative aspects of the company, focusing on content development, from script to screen including film direction. He will also take an active roll in product marketing.

A graduate of the Royal College of Art film school, Simeon has worked in Film and Television for twenty years primarily as a production designer for companies as diverse as Granada, BBC, Yorkshire, Mersey, London weekend and many of the indies. Simeon has an extensive knowledge of drama production and a design background that is second to none. Simeon wrote and directed his first short ‘Triple Exposure’, a film noir pastiche, in 1998. The film premiered at the A.F.I. Los Angeles Film Festival. Several short films later, including the festival award winning ‘Sleep my Love’; Simeon has now developed a number of feature projects. Over seven years of attending Cannes and the other major international film markets, Simeon has developed many close relations within the film industry.

Noel Mellor – Digital Interaction Manager

A trained journalist, film critic and online marketing specialist, Noel’s role is to maintain the company’s web presence. This involves website management, search optimisation and the operation of Not A Number’s various social networking channels.

Jez Blackmore – Production Assistant

An MA student at Salford University, Jez undertakes many aspects of production within the company.

Jeff Barber – Non Exec director

A senior partner in BTG- Mcinnes Corporate Finance, Jeff has joined Not A Number as a Non Executive Director and shareholder to help guide the business on a corporate level.

A senior parnter of A Hallidays Accountants – a large and established accountancy practice – Nigel is a shareholder at Not A Number, who’s key responsibilities are to oversee all aspects of accounts and financials. This has included acting as collection agency on Splintered.
